In the second mission you saw how the checkpoints affects both sides in the conflicts, and leads to hopeless situations. The role of checkpoints is perceived very differently by the two sides. The Israelis view them as necessary to maintain security. The Palestinians see the checkpoints as collective punishment and an intrusion in their everyday life.
